I was looking for the Christmas station I.D.s of ABS-CBN and GMA. These comments are only some of those that I found on the comments section of the videos. Click the picture for a bigger, better view :D
Isn’t it just sad? All people could care about in the midst of the Christmas celebration is how good a mere video of a station is from another station’s. This is soo ironic cause my last post was about how better the Kapamilya song is than the Kapuso one hehe.. But hey! I got my epiphany just a few moments later…which is good right? :D
The point is, Christmas is not about the competition, who the heck cares about who’s in the video, who made it, who sang it, how it sounds, when all that really matters is the message that it sends to the viewers. Jesus wasn’t thinking of how grand his life and death should be to lead all the gazillions of sinners to salvation, so why should we compare, argue and waste our time on these petty stuff?
Reblog, comment, reply, repost! I’d like to know what you think about it too :)

Di hamak na mas maganda ang “Star ng Pasko” ng Kapamilya this year. Despite the loss and the tragedy caused by the recent bagyos that struck the Philippines, you can surely feel the warmth of hope and love with the song. Jesus (Bro) really is the Star of the Christmas, kaya I really like the song and its message.

GMA’s song according to my brother, is like…masaklap na nga ung nangyari, masaklap pa at malungkot ung kanta…no offense guys but the song just doesn’t give the Christmas, hope, spark.

I wanna know what you guys think! (For once, please naman mag-comment, repost naman kayo or something!)

Star Ng Pasko

===========

Kung kailan pinakamadilim
Ang mga tala ay mas nagniningning
Gaano man kakapal ang ulap
Sa likod nito ay may liwanag

Ang liwanag na ito
Nasa ‘ting lahat
May sinag ang bawat pusong bukas
Sa init ng mga yakap
Maghihilom ang lahat ng sugat

Ang nagsindi nitong ilaw
Walang iba kundi ikaw
Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko
Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko

Tayo ang ilaw sa madilim na daan
Pagkakapit bisig lalong higpitan
Dumaan man sa malakas na alon
Lahat tayo’y makakaahon

Ang liwanag na ito
Nasa ‘ting lahat
May sinag ang bawat pusong bukas
Sa init ng mga yakap
Maghihilom ang lahat ng sugat

Ang nagsindi nitong ilaw
Walang iba kundi ikaw
Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko
Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko

Kikislap ang pag-asa
Kahit kanino man
Dahil ikaw Bro, dahil ikaw Bro
Dahil ikaw Bro
Ang star ng pasko

Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko
Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko

Ang nagsindi nitong ilaw
Walang iba kundi ikaw
Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko

Ang nagsindi nitong ilaw
Walang iba kundi ikaw
Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko

Ang nagsindi nitong ilaw
Walang iba kundi ikaw
Salamat sa liwanag mo
Muling magkakakulay ang pasko

Dahil ikaw Bro, dahil ikaw Bro
Dahil ikaw Bro
Ang star ng pasko!

How to Pass the Exams: A Recipe for DISASTER

This is a fictional and illogical recipe. I DO NOT ADVISE THE USE OF THIS RECIPE AT ALL!

My classmates and I were talking about the different methods of cheating on the bench earlier at school today. (It’s our exam week by the way, and today is the 2nd to the last day! Woohoo!) So here’s the recipe we kinda formulated:

ZEH RECIPE FOR DISASTER:

1. Cut your reviewer or handout in little pieces and paste them onto your handkerchief.

2. Pretend to cough during the exam, and take a peek at your handkerchief when the teacher is not looking.

3. Sit next to the smart person you trust at the exam room.

……..

……..

That’s about all I can remember…if you’ve any ideas, tell me or reply or reblog whatever!

The True Meaning of Christmas…according to Santa

I didn’t write this story by the way. I found it here: http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/customs/Xmas/meaning.htm

I just finished the household chores for the night and was preparing to go to bed, when I heard a noise in the front of the house. I opened the door to the front room and to my surprise, Santa himself stepped out from behind the Christmas tree. He placed his finger over his mouth so I would not cry out.

“What are you doing?” I started to ask. The words choked up in my throat, and I saw he had tears in his eyes. His usual jolly manner was gone. Gone was the eager, boisterous character we all know.

He then answered me with a simple statement.

“TEACH THE CHILDREN!”

I was puzzled; what did he mean? He guessed my question and with one quick movement, he pulled a miniature toy bag from behind the tree.

As I stood puzzled, Santa said,

“Teach the children! Teach them the old meaning of Christmas. The meaning that now-a-days Christmas has forgotten.”

Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a FIR TREE and place dit in front of the fire place.

“Teach the children that the pure green colour of the stately fir tree remains green all year round, representing the everlasting hope of mankind, all the needles point heavenward, making it a symbol of man’s thoughts turning toward heaven.”

He again reached into his bag and pulled out a brilliant STAR.

“Teach the children that the star was the heavenly sign of promises long ago. God promised a Saviour for the world, and the star was the sign of fulfillment of His promise.”

He then reached into his bag and pulled out a CANDLE.

“Teach the children that the candle symbolises that Christ is the light of the world, and when se see this great light we are reminded of Jesus who fills our lives with light.”

Once again he reached into his bag and removed a WREATH and palced it on the tree.

“Teach the children that the wreath symbolises the real nature of love. Real love never ceases, like God’s love which has no beginning or end.”

He then pulled from his bag an ornament of HIMSELF.

“Teach the children that I, Santa Claus symbolise the generosity and kindness we feel during the month of December.”

He then brought out a HOLLY LEAF.

“Teach the children that the holly plant represents immortality. It represents the crown of thorns worn by our Savior. The red holly represents the blood shed by Him.”

Next he pulled from his bag a GIFT and said,

“Teach the children that God so loved the world that HE gave us HIS only SON…We thank God for his very special gift.”

“Teach the children that the wise men bowed before the Holy Baby and gave HIM gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. We should always give gifts in the same spirit of the wise men.”

Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a SUGAR CANE and hung it on the tree.

“Teach the children that the sugar cane represents the shepherd’s crook. The crook on the staff helps to bring back lost sheep to the flock.”

He then reached in again and pulled out an ANGEL.

“Teach the children that it was the angels that announced the glorious news of the Saviour’s birth. The angels sang ‘Glory to God in the highest, on eart peach and good will toward men.”

Suddenly, I heard a soft tinkling sound, and from his bag he pulled out a BELL.

“Teach the children that as the lost sheep are found by the sound of the bell, it should ring to guide us to God. The bell symbolises guidance and return. It reminds us that we are all precious in the eyes of God.”

Santa looked back and was pleased. I saw the twinkle in his eyes as he said:

“Remember, teach the children the true meaning of Christmas and do not put me in the centre, for I am but a humble servant of the One that is, and I bow down to worship HIM, our LORD, our GOD.”
